The material culture project carried out jointly by METU Department of Industrial Design, Israel Neri Bloomfield Haifa Design School (WIZO Haifa) and Morocco Ben Guerir Muhammed VI Polytechnic University School of Architecture, Planning and Design between 17-30 April 2023 has been completed. Visits to three countries within the scope of the project included the METU campus in Turkey, Ankara Castle and Beypazarı; the Benguerir campus in Morocco, Marrakech, Meknes and Fes; and WIZO, Haifa, Accra and Jerusalem in Israel. During the visits, workshops were held in a hybrid environment in Ankara, Ben Guerir and Haifa. 12 students from METU (ID 403 Collaborative Design course), 14 students from Israel and 6 students from Morocco participated in the project. As a result of the project, five international teams formed from the disciplines of Industrial Design, Architecture, Fashion Design and Visual Communication Design presented their design approaches developed within the scope of material culture.
