“Embedding Design in Life” symposium was organized on March 31th, 2012 at Cermodern as a result of the collaboration between METU Department of Industrial Design and the Embassy of Finland. During the symposium, the moderator of which was Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatma Korkut, the head of the METU Department of Industrial Design Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülay Hasdoğan gave a speech entitled “Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards: A Glance to Turkish Design”. Also, during the symposium conducted within the scope of Marimekko – Pattern and Design Exhibition at Cermodern, the CEO of Creadesign Hannu Kahonen and the design director of Pentagon Design Sauli Suomela gave speeches.
