Minor Program in Industrial Design

The minor program in Industrial Design introduces students to design concepts and explores the impact of design on cultural values and industry. The program includes the methods of evaluation as a tool for decision making and human-product interaction. Its aim is to introduce the concepts of design thinking within the context of competition and technological developments. Particular attention is given to how design can benefit an organization and influence its overall strategic plan. Product development is approached from perspectives of methodology, creativity, strategic planning, and human-centered design.
