We wholeheartedly congratulate Cansu Çetin, who has been awarded grant support in TUBITAK 1512 Individual Young Initiative Program (BİGG) with her design project titled “Smart Insulin Treatment in Children with Type 1 Diabetes”, which she carried out as part of her 2019-20 Spring semester Graduation Projects course in our department. Thus, Cansu founded Quop and has started R&D studies in the field of medical device design at METU Teknokent. She then reached an agreement on business management and business development with Adapttech to accelerate the work and make a rapid introduction to the startup ecosystem abroad, and she will continue her activities from Portugal for some time. While wishing Cansu Çetin continued success, we would also like to extend our thanks to the studio team and her advisor firm Biyomod that contributed to the development of her graduation project, as well as Dr. Ayhan Ozan Yılmaz of the Biyomod team who guided Cansu on her entrepreneurial journey.
