Our department ranked the 5th in Red Dot Design Ranking 2015: Universities Americas & Europe
METU Department of Industrial Design ranked 5th among the ‘’Most Successful Design Schools’’ of America and Europe according to the Red Dot Design Ranking 2015. The ranking is based on the Red Dot Awards won by universities in the ‘’Design Concept’’ category in the last 5 years. This year the USA has 5, Germany has 2, and Sweden, France, United Kingdom, Canada, Austria, Czech Republic, Brazil, and Turkey have 1 education institution in the list, respectively. The Red Dot Design Awards are given since 1955 by Design Zentrum Nordhein Wesfalen in Essen, Germany. You can find detailed information about Red Dot on www.red-dot.de website.
