As a part of the ID480 Design Management course, Damla Çay will give a seminar titled 'Tackling Challenges for Co-designing Geographical Visualisations'. Damla Çay is a researcher and designer interested in understanding human experiences related to data and designing meaningful interactions between humans and data. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Design, Technology & Society program at Koç University, Istanbul. She adapted, extended, and enriched existing user-centered design and evaluation methods for data visualizations and explored ways of designing geographical data visualizations for non-experts, that balance data complexity, and visual simplicity.
