Inst. Dr. Dilruba Oğur
Biography
She completed her B.I.D., M.Sc. and PhD degrees at the Department of Industrial Design at Middle East Technical University. She worked as a research assistant in METU Department of Industrial Design between 2015 and 2021. She has contributed to both project and theory-based courses focusing on sustainability, design research, and graphic design at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has been working as a part-time lecturer in the same department since the spring term of 2022. She also works as a researcher in sustainability-oriented projects within the Sustain! Design Research Lab.
Within the scope of her doctoral thesis, Oğur Aydın focused on design for sustainable behavior change with a particular emphasis on effective use of water. Her main research interest includes generative design research, design education, design research methods and design for sustainability.
