2021 Industrial Design graduates gathered at the graduation ceremony.

METU Faculty of Architecture, 2020-21 academic year’s graduation ceremony was held on Monday, 13 September 2021 between 10.00-12.00 in front of the Faculty of Architecture main building. The traditional graduation ceremony that takes place at METU “Devrim” Stadium could not be held last year due to the global pandemic. Like many other departments, the Department of Industrial Design held the ceremony online. This year, departments and faculties were able to hold their ceremonies face-to-face by taking epidemic measures. The ceremony is held in front of the main entrance of the Faculty of Architecture, which is the first building of METU, where the first diploma ceremonies were held. The ceremony started with the march of faculty members and 2021 graduates. After the speeches of the Dean of the Faculty, the Heads of the Departments, the highest-ranked students of the faculty and the departments; the doctorate, master and undergraduate graduates of the Industrial Design, City and Regional Planning, and Architecture Departments were awarded their diplomas. At the end of the ceremony, where families were also invited, celebrations and photo shoots took place. We congratulate the graduates of 2021 and wish them success in their future lives.
