Dilruba Oğur is a design researcher and educator whose research focuses on supporting sustainable behaviour change through design. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Design at Middle East Technical University (METU), where she also received her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Industrial Design.

Her doctoral research explored how diverse user tendencies and behavioural insights can inform early design ideation for sustainable behaviour change. She conducted her postdoctoral research at Imagination Lancaster, Lancaster University, supported by the TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. Building on her doctoral research, her postdoctoral work focused on advancing the Design for User Tendencies (DUT) method and exploring its adaptability and transferability across different sustainability contexts.
