Under the Erasmus+ staff exchange program, METU Department of Industrial Design was delighted to host PhD candidate Sofia Soledad Duarte Poblete from the Department of Design, Politecnico di Milano, between 8-10 May 2024. Staff and students participated in her 'Materials Dialogues' workshop, where they were briefed about the emerging practices of materials design within the frame of environmental sustainability. Participants generated ideas on how materials design practices may be adopted by companies intent on pursuing materials-driven design and innovation.
