Ahmet Burak Veyisoğlu is the Founder and Managing Director of CURA DESIGN LIMITED, a Hong Kong-based design consultancy specializing in delivering innovative, user-centered product design solutions. With over 20 years of professional experience in industrial design, Burak has built a distinguished career marked by global collaborations and a deep understanding of both Western and Eastern markets.

After earning his degree in Industrial Design, Burak began his career at Siemens and Otokar, gaining valuable experience across different industries. He later joined Arçelik in Istanbul, Turkey, as a Product Designer, where he played a key role in developing cutting-edge home appliances. His time at Arçelik resulted in multiple patents, demonstrating his capacity for innovation and his commitment to pushing the boundaries of product design.

Seeking global opportunities, Burak moved to China, where he spent over a decade refining his skills and expanding his influence in the design industry. As the Design Manager, Far East at Beko, he led diverse teams of product designers, engineers, and project managers. His leadership fostered close collaborations that resulted in market-leading home appliances tailored to the needs of consumers across Asia and beyond. His ability to bridge Eastern and Western design philosophies enabled him to create products that resonate on a global scale.
In 2018, Burak founded CURA DESIGN LIMITED to bring his vision of holistic, user-driven design to a broader audience. Under his guidance, CURA DESIGN has become known for its thoughtful approach to product development, focusing on enhancing user experiences while maintaining a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation. The studio's work has not only led to successful commercial products but has also earned recognition through various industry awards and accolades. CURA DESIGN’s unique blend of technical precision and creative problem-solving has made them a trusted partner for companies looking to innovate in competitive markets.

Burak holds a master’s degree in Industrial Design from Middle East Technical University (METU) (2010) and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from METU (2003).
