METU ID collaborated with OMSIAD (Office Furniture Industrialists and Businessmen Association) in `Active Hotdesk Design` project conducted with the fourth year students in Fall 2012-2013. Nine design proposals responding to short-time working needs in various places, like airports, shopping malls, fairs, cafes, restaurants, bus stations, etc. were presented as a result of four-week group project held by 33 students. Evaluation of the design proposals was completed by a jury team consisting of METU ID instructors and OMSIAD-member firms, on January 16th, Wednesday. The exhibition will continue to be hosted by TAV Airports at Esenboğa Airport. Prototypes and posters of the projects will be exhibited near International Outgoing Check-In counters for 10 days. We thank OMSIAD and its member firms Atagür, Bamos, Bürosit, Delta, Ersa, İkoor, Nexoff, Tuna, and Ürosan, for their support in the development and the prototyping process of student projects, and Ankara TAV Airports for hosting the exhibition of the student projects.
